Happy New Year! I can hardly believe we’re changing our calendars for the start of 2025. The years roll by faster each time and I choose to remember that the remaining years ahead are not up to me, but are in His capable, trustworthy hands.

This spring, as the massive amount of April snow we got melted, I made my way to the river often to see how high it would get. At sunset I got a special treat when the water reflected the beautiful sky and gave me some these great shots.

In Alberta we enjoyed a white water rafting trip down the Athabasca River. The water was very cold, even in late August, and the view was unforgettable.

We drove over to Old Fort Point just before sunset to check out a scenic lookout up a hill that overlooked the Athabasca River, Twin Lakes, and the small town.
